The accessibility of The Hague is largely dependent on the Utrechtsebaan (A12). Now 40% of the traffic that enters and exits the city daily through this road. As a result, traffic jams on the Utrechtsebaan every day. Residential areas in The Hague, Rijswijk and Leidschendam-Voorburg will then also be full of shortage traffic. The Rotterdamsebaan will change that. The Rotterdamsebaan makes The Hague and the region more accessible by connecting the motorways (A4 / A13) and the center ring of The Hague. The traffic to and from the motorways can thus be better distributed and the pressure on the Utrechtsebaan will be reduced.
